Shadow14r43 GP

Hi... My tag is all hail the holy original "Shadow" and then a bunch of random numbers. Yeah, I made this username when i was 10, just like everyone else with the username "Shadow". But for me, I probably wouldn't come up of something a less cliche, but Shadow14r43 GP just stuck for a long time and never considered changing it. I... probably should.
Anyway, my experience with Smash is back when I was 6 or 7. I played Smash 64 for the first time... Well, technically. The controllers were broken and it was at a McDonald's PlayPlace. Even though I DID have an N64 and my favorite game on it was Mario Kart 64. But that was until my freaking babysitter stole my N64. . Then I saw the Super Smash bros. Brawl reveal trailer and was blown away. I just wanted to play it so badly. So my mom bought me Melee outa the blue. But the experience was short lived. It broke. In fact I think it was broken right out of the box. I never got to play Smash again, until I got Brawl years later. And Brawl was the greatest thing that has happened in my life. Didn't realize what I was missing until I downloaded PM. That was the real deal. Then Smash 4 happened. Was cool, but it was full of BS. So I found out that my 7 year old PC could run the Dolphin emulator at ease, so I got Melee.
At the time I'm typing all this, I live in an area with pretty much NO local tournaments. If there was and I could find out where I rank, then I'd be a bit more confident in my skill. There's a BUNCH of competitive players around here, so I don't know why there're no tournaments around. I go to high school and there's a gaming club. That's our excuse to set up our own tournament.
Anyway, I don't even know what I'm saying anymore, so...
