Looks like Melee isn't the only smash community getting even more hype since Apex. Although, I wish Trela & Gnes would've gone to Apex.. Razer + Gnes for doubles to defend highest USA Apex team, and M2K + Trela anubis! Hopefully these players will stay more active from now on.

I presume "Axis" is the player we commonly know as "Ally" (get it?) To me it's not so unbelievable that Ally beat M2K. M2K should win against Ally (based on MK vs Snake match-up, and M2K having the better and more experienced MK in the ditto), but we can't expect him to ALWAYS beat a player...

IMO, the Melee vs. Skullgirls donation drive competition has done more for community bonding than "burning bridges". To me it's pretty obvious that any trash talking etc. from both parties is basically just trolling to generate more hype/more money for breast cancer research. I can't speak...

Can someone confirm that Brawl is the Apex Ruleset again/if doubles are happening? (It lists a fee for Brawl Doubles, but it's not on the "schedule".)
