    Tier List Speculation

The problem with moves like the old pk fire is that they dont need commitment. Not only are they safe on shield, they aren't risky for what they give. This had the consequence of making them polarizing, and in the end characters like ness or link would have no reason to work for hits and no...

Kinda I guess, but magnet is really different from shine, in the sense that when used in the air, you drift with it. Mixed with djc, there's a lot of stuff you can do, like fade back magnet djc fair, or magnet drift dair or uair.

Use magnet in neutral to mix up your movement. That move just gained a true purpose because of the pk fire nerf.

I feel like everyone has to commit now to get something started. There's no more bull**** like double nanners and pk fire on shield. Everyone has to go in and do stuff. Project m went from low risk/high reward, to high risk/high reward, which is for the best.

They changed the angle of d-throw so that it's more upward. They reduced base knockback but raised growth knockback. That means at early percent, ness has follow up, but he can't connect to kill moves at higher percent, making the use of b-throw and f-throw more useful. Ness is basically not a...

Biggest buff to ness is people can't whine anymore when playing me.

Who is harder? Ness or Ivysaur?

I don't know if you're talking about marth edgeguards on ness, but honestly once ness is offstage he aint coming back. Marth only has to abuse his range and stay on the stage. It's not like ness has a lot of options; it's a straight line toward the stage. The least he can do is not get tippered...

Who is harder? Ness or Ivysaur?

''Marth has no answer to PK Fire and he's a great combo weight for Ness. Ness' air maneuverability gives him tons of options against a waiting Marth.'' Except a good marth has every answer to pk fire. His strong ground mobility gives him all he needs to avoid pk fire plus ness is combo food for...

Ness has mobility especially on stages with platforms, but still you end up just using pk fire with the movement. It's kinda sad, I don't want people to think I'm a one trick poney, but it's my best option :(

PMBR says they are redesigning recoveries

Mario recovers from really far, but as options goes, he's pretty limited. Gimping him is much more simple than it looks. Best moment is if he uses down b the moment he pops, its highly punishable.

I would love if they removed ness dependance on pk fire for its neutral game. You don't feel good spamming it just to get across the fact you have basically no way of pressuring a shield and no range.

    The Falco matchup.

Thats our job to know what he has at the moment though. I was assuming falco was forced in phantasm or up-b here. What I like to do is predict the jump and hit nair right as he startup the phantasm. You must be really tight but it works well. But yeah falco is hard to edgeguard if he still has...

    The Falco matchup.

Yeah the invicibility frame is still here, which means you can clash with it with nair, which happens a lot. I think grabbing the ledge and forcing up-b makes it really easy to edgeguard since its laggy and we have plenty of moves to punish it.

    The Falco matchup.

After some testing I think your best option is to grab the ledge and force a flamebird, or just roll if he tries to phantasm. It's safe and kinda easy actually. You can punish if he tries the flame bird with nair bair or dair.
