I'm a 25 year old guy who got into the scene right around evo 2013 right before the smash Doc came out. I'm from Collinsville, IL which is right outside St. Louis. I'm going to about a tournament or 2 per month. I play a pretty technical lucas, but my fundamentals lack from experience, but it's something I'm trying to work on. I also get destroyed by having not alot of different matchup experience. I play with 2-3 guys regularly, so I only really know their character match ups, which are Snake, Wario, Falcon, lucario.
