    Got to the Gecko screen, but Wii remote seems to be act dead.

    Thanks so much for explaining this. I was racking my brain trying to find the problem. I thought it had something to do with the way WiiU does VC controller association. I recently updated my wii remotes to collectors' and the only one that will work for GeckoOS is some (probably stolen) JP...
