    Guide Mario matchup thread

Could you care to explain the Mario MU then? I find he is one of the hardest characters for me to deal with. I think he beats Pikachu 60:40, ESAM consistently loses to Ally, yet these boards think it's even for some reason.

youre all bias as hell, too many 55:45s (Mario's MU's aren't that close, come on, you're a top tier, this is ridiculous) And he does not lose to the pits 40:60, no way.

    Pika's Down B needs a change and here's why

this is... kinda of a really ****ty argument honestly. The move isn't even that overcentralizing, the fact that it can interrupt things means it is good, but it isn't even close broken and doesn't need a change. I can tell you probably lost something because of it, maybe had a ryu combo going...

    zss v pikachu MU

I've mained both for about as long as the game has been out, and I think that Pikachu wins this by a lot. Possibly her worst matchup. He's very small, so very hard to hit with nairs and zairs. His forward air isnt safe on shield, but I don't think our grab comes out fast enough in order to...

Q&A Pikachu Q&A Thread (Ask a Quick Question, Get a Quick Answer)

That's actually something worth looking into, moving very slightly towards the farther blastzone if they end up not DIing so that they can't DI there after the spike. I'm 99% convinced this is actually useless and a waste of time to practice. It doesn't look useful like, anywhere, just...

Even if they get hit by the cloud, as they're being spiked they can DI towards the blastzone they want to.

Q&A Pikachu Q&A Thread (Ask a Quick Question, Get a Quick Answer)

I'm like 99% sure that no followup is guaranteed if they DI in front of you, since down throw already throws them forward, DI-ing forward brings them extra forward. I think mastering up throw, reading DI, then down B is much more efficient. The thunder cloud hitbox that hits into your blue...

But If they DI forward it's pretty much a lost cause though. If it ends up that up throw thunder is guaranteed with whatever DI and one masters it, I think that up throw will be the better option.

You could probably do one, two if your opponent is stupid, DI can escape it, it's not true, but sometimes it works at least once. You don't

Why do players dislike playing other Pikachu's?

I didn't take anything to heart. I merely countered your moot points that made no sense. Also, If you go into the Pika boards and call the character piss easy to use, what exactly are you expecting....?

Why do players dislike playing other Pikachu's?

As a previous Rosalina main, this is very correct, Rosalina has to be extremely precise with her defensive options or else Luma is gone, and you've basically got one of the worst characters in the game to play with. Also, the more people start adapting to Luma, the harder she gets.

Why do players dislike playing other Pikachu's?

"Because of priority" Excuse me...? He can deal with characters because of priority, that really makes NO sense, come up with a better reason. Pikachu has a lot of safe moves...? Fair is insanely unsafe on shield, Dair is too, git gud at punishing it, because you threw out the wrong move and...
