I'm attempting to learn Isabelle at the moment pretty much entirely based on her fishing-rod play. Being able to grab people in the air and from such extreme range makes her air game and ledge-guarding much more interesting - and those are turning out to be quite important elements in Ultimate.

Marth and Palutena both have solid grab game and seem to have some healthy options off of it. If you count specials then Incineroar has a solid command throw and some nice punishes - flameluchadorcat seems most situationally fantastic against other heavies. And then there's Isabelle's...

The fishing rod has some great interactions with bouncing people off the bottom of the stage, too (when you can stand far enough towards the center). Seems great for gimping characters with poor recovery range, or characters who rely on tether recoveries. I've been messing with our Simon player...
