    All characters homerun conest over 1400 same method

    Yeah depending on the character on almost everyone I just do a forward smash(if its worth doing damage wise), grab the bat and throw it repeatedly. I got my highest (just over 2000, not impressive) with Bowser this way.

    SO. Who else is Staying away from online play? I am. Here's why.

    Im tried of hearing this. I use a Lan Adapter and Im not sure on my Broadband speed exactly but Im always getting 500-700kbs at least on any downloads. I play online PC Games every day and depending on the game I always have tons of servers with under a 100 ping and no lag. (Its all I play on)...

    I can say Ive clocked at least 50 online games and not one has had under at least a second delay. If at all one or two that was under 1 second which was 1v1 no items or anything that could lag it. Ive tried both wireless (4 feet from my Wii) and Lan Adapter, and neither have any noticeable...

    So uh, does the LAN Adapter help at all with the lag?

    Buying a Lan Adapter wont help. I have one and still have 1-2 second delays as I have with my Wireless Router.

    LAN adapter=Nocitably less lag?

    Im using a Lan Adpater and all my online matches still have 2-3 second delays. Except when I got a 1v1, then it was a 1 second delay.. This is all assuming of course you are talking about Brawl online. The Wii shop and other online Wii channels seem pretty instant speed anyway.

    I would say no, as some characters final smashes are designed for 1v1, while others with multiple characters to punish.
