This might sound stupid at first, but have you tried considering applying some industrial superglue for plastic? It looks glued on there, if that one failed you could scrape it off to regain the flat surface and get them together again. You'd be surprised how stubborn a really good glue is

I know there is a replacement for it on amazon somewhere for like 2-3$ but I cannot seem to find it at the moment (someone posted it a few weeks back on the forums) Aside from that, try contacting Nintendo I'd say if the product is still in warranty

Show them your moves. Anyway, in a more serious note, if you're losing badly each time try hanging back more often in the match, see what they're up to and try to intercept more. I get most of my losses by just rushing in without a worry on my mind <3 (ps, that does not work lol) I'll post up...

Palutena is still my number one, no changes there. Zero Suit Samus is very fun to use as well however poor Duck Hunt just doesn't sit right with me, no matter how much I tried liking the guy, it didn't click >~<

Bowser neutral air is also quite charming when dealing with Trophy Rush + he gets less easier KO'd

I have randomly unlocked the pink puffball after doing a 100 man smash x.x I have no idea how to unlock most of these characters so I'm just doing stuff and unlocking them along the way haha

Set up a 3-stock match with a lvl 3 cpu to test palutena's moves and get a feel of how she plays. edit: yes this is indeed the very very first thing I did haha
