Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

Uh. That sort of thing happens all the time in real life. You need a better example.

    Razoraw's Fighter/Stage/Item Creation Write-Ups

Okay, gonna put in my items and Assist Trophy ideas in real quick... Assist Trophy: Knuckles the Echidna Upon being summoned, he summons the nearest two fighters (or one if there's only two fighters), and performs his fire dunk attack from Sonic Heroes, using both as projectiles that he...

    Razoraw's Fighter/Stage/Item Creation Write-Ups

I started this a while back at BrawlCentral a while back, and I figured I'd pick it up again. It's pretty basic: I describe how a fighter would work in the game, create a concept for a stage, or make up an item. Here we go, first up is: Fighter: Metal Sonic Introduction Tag-line: A...

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

Seeing as how justifying that basically casts you in the role of someone who cares only about self entitlement...? Bleh. Whatever. "It sucks so common decency doesn't matter." Admirable logic, my friend.

Your vaulted cause loses ALL credibility when you say that you would have been justified in pirating it.

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

That strikes me as a grossly inaccurate hyper generalization of what I've been saying. This whole think strikes me as more hogwash to justify that there are "true fans." This is no different from "we've been reading for years, they OWE IT to us to give us yellow spandex in the X-men movie."

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

And you can quantify that it was just the competitive players that stayed with the fandom all this time and played it? And even if you can, all it proves is that you have a lot of time devoted to a video game. What's your point? You want a medal? It doesn't really contribute to the earnings of...

For the umpteenth time, this is both untrue and IMPOSSIBLE.

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

Post count serves to do nothing other than give people a bigger virtual p****. What's your point?

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

No one is ever serious when they say this, but it's still the lowest possible kind of thing you can do on the internet. If you can't express your feelings in ways other than pretend violence, what worth is anything you have to say?

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

I'm pretty sure that programming a game doesn't necessarily work like that.

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

I don;t know about him, but I don't want to go against competitive players. I just want the air of superiority and bitterness to go away so people can focus on what they think is fun about all this. Yes, this is playing with fire, to a degree, but whoever set that fire has nothing to be proud of.

You're not a game designer. You're not even a 10th of the group of people he should think about when musing on how to make a video game. And even then, kissing his *** does not necessarily equal considering where he stands as a game designer, considering the issue, or making an adult decision...

Sakurai does not want Smash to be a competitive franchise

There's also playing to be challenged. There's fun in taking on a system where the odds exist at varying degrees and it comes down to how hard you try... or sometimes when you just want to see what happens. That's why people gamble. No matter how good you are at cards, there's always something...
