How do you do a JC reverse upsmash? I could see this being a useful technique and would like to learn it. I like to spam upsmash a lot & it's not very safe on shield, so I'd like to see how safe a reverse one would be

Yeah I love that part of his f-air, pops them up perfectly. If you just use only the first hit, too, it works as well. I usually combo it into n-air (hard to DI because f-air -> n-air comes out so fast and can lead to easy edgeguards), u-air, or upsmash(only if you can get the strong one) but...

If you just F-air from the ledge & regrab you are basically invincible. Sometimes I'll just camp like that when I'm at high % and once I think it's safe enough I'll perfect waveland back on

I remember trying this a couple months ago on Bowser and I found out after a little bit of experimenting that you can DI out of it. Not sure if it's changed since then somehow, but that's what I recall at least.

Yeah I'm not too big a fan of Oli's grab game, so I just abuse the power of his aerials mostly when I have the purple pikmin. His F-air and B-air are pretty safe on shield just because of the power & range w/ a purple, so I mostly spam those.

I've been experimenting with a way to play Oli. Whenever I'm at a low % and have 1-2 purple pikmin available, I throw the pikmin that aren't purple offstage. This leaves me with only purple pikmin at my disposal. The combo potential when the enemy is at low % is insane, and when they get high %...
