Been thinking about this... Since they're both gunblade users, why not have Squall and Lightning as the next Simon/Richter-style Echoes? Make two fanbases happy.

Somebody suggested Tifa as a Little Mac Echo. I'd love that, though I doubt we'd get three FF7 characters. Also, I think you're spot-on about Seph being a threat to make the roster. We haven't had a 3rd Party villain yet, and if there's anyone who can break through, it's this guy.

I support Sephiroth. After Squall, he's my most-wanted FF character. I hope they both somehow make it in, even if Squall has to be an Echo of Cloud. Btw if any of you guys are FF8/Squall fans, there's a support thread for him too...

These guys are the creators of PW? This gives me hope. If we somehow got Edgeworth as an Echo I'd completely lost my sanity.

These days I keep trying to talk myself into scenarios where Squall can make it in. Two things in his favor: 1) The writer of Subspace Emissary, Kazushige Nojima, is also the writer of FF8 and Squall's co-creator 2) Cloud Echo potential. Ideally Squall would be unique, but I'll take him any way...

I'd love to see them incorporate some of Squall's Dissidia moves and magic. Rather than having another sword-focused FF guy like Cloud, they could shoot for a more balanced swordsman/mage. Maybe like Robin, but Squall should be quicker/lighter.

I think they'll introduce Echoes, give us 3 new Echoes, then end the direct with a unique newcomer.

He's by far my most wanted. I support! If we get a second FF rep, I'm banking on it being him. Don't care if he's a Cloud semi-clone or whatever, I just want him in.
