    Having GSP be per profile would have its own issues. Over in the Overwatch community they are pushing for SR (same thing as GSP) to be per hero, not per profile, so that you could try out a new hero without losing ranking on your main.     Thoughts on the "video game characsters only" rule/thing

    I think characters should be from a video game series that has appeared on Nintendo consoles. For example, Metal Gear appeared on the NES, so Snake is fair game, and since the first six FF games were on Nintendo, Cloud is valid.
