As noted in this video, bounce teching only works when being hit out of the air. If you land the fair while your opponent is on the ground, the down b true combos (and this is what I tested, as it is the most common situation). Cool piece of tech to know about though

No they definitely can't. I've tested it with friends who I've told to mash air dodge. It's a true combo in certain % ranges on most of the cast, if not the entire cast

There is enough time before hitstun wears off to react to the missed tech. Therefore, you don't press down b until you see that they can get hit by it, and you will never get punished. Also, dthrow does not combo into down b as far as i can tell

If you want to see a very technical lucas, watch HaKii. There are only a few videos of him on youtube, but he seems to get the footstool dair locks quite often. He also plays much more aggressive than I've seen from other lucas players, which I find extremely entertaining

Also im fairly sure jab > bair doesn't work if your opponent expects it. There is enough time for them to air dodge, jump away, or mash up b and punish you.

I've gotten this in game already. It is subject to bad DI, but sometimes you can catch your opponent holding inwards or something if they are for example running towards you when you hit them with nair. It isn't super reliable, but its definitely useful to know about

Bair is definitely safe on shield vs some characters. It hits hard and auto spaces itself. Pretty sure the rest of his/her aerials aren't safe on shield

I don't have tap jump on, and I was able to do it just fine. You just need quick fingers

Also combos into RAR bair for kills. As well as fair which can start combos at low percents.
