i think banjo is gonna be the first smash reveal that gets a positive emotional reaction out of me, thats for sure. even if im only 17 the bear and bird have meant a lot for me in the time ive known 'em.

lol. fitting that around the time i decided to start playin smash and checking out smash boards again that we get news about one of the three characters i was hopin' for.

i mean, pokemon on switch was a pretty big indicator that the 3ds was pretty much dead. kinda hope that means paper mario can take center stage as the mario rpg and be good again since m&l tended to be handheld games

ive never enjoyed anything square has ever done outside of mario rpg so i dont really have a preference for sora over erdrick, especially when i dislike their source games equally as much lol. just give me geno, i dont wanna settle for a lesser of two bads or whatever

even just getting a release date and the bare minimum of footage for animal crossing wouldve made that 35 minute slog feel worth my time, but a geno reveal and a mario rpg remake would've been really cool too

mario maker and link's awakening with that super good art style interested me but literally nothing else caught my attention at all. really want my 35 minutes back lol
