Try useing the a button for the fair, and teh c stick for the uair, tho, ff with the control stick, and right b4 u hit the ground, hit up on the c stick. U didn't say if you used the C stick, so i'm assuming you didn't, i might be wrong though.

You can use wavedashing for mind games, as AS Money said. Spacing is very important with marth, as the idea is to get a tipper of as much as u can(unless your ken comboing, etc.), that is where wavedashing comes in handy, because it is soemtimes easier tehn dashdancing into the right position...

My Advice is to learn to fast fall your errr... half shffl's better, and don't use side tilt as much, or don't use just A. And read everyone elses advice except for Kid Dymanite.

I agree with UMBC Super Smasher, that is mostly only useful if your opponent is in teh air, as marth is weak from below. Or, you could try doing that, and waveland, into a combo/F-Smash or use it for mind games, just a thought...
