Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

Is there any way to set the computer to sheik like you could in previous iterations of 20XX yet?

if you download this version of 20XX, pressing up on the dpad will give you a metal skin. if you go into the debug menu, you can change the color of the metal skin and make it dark yellow to make it look gold. no download.

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

Quick question: How would I go about editing the hdr file so it's set to GALEXX if this is going to generate the iso automatically? Would I need to extract the new iso's root folder, change the file, and rebuild in GCR?

man, gold plated characters are the yoga pants of melee.

I'm assuming this is just not finished yet, as it is still in a beta state. I wouldn't recommend using this version for practice on anything other than DI and basic follow ups to be honest. I'm sure it's being worked on as much as possible.

they're listed in the debug menu. you can go to training codes > in-game code toggles. it has the whole list along with the option to turn them on. they're also listed here, http://i.imgur.com/YbOvw80.png . these are the codes for 3.02, but I'm pretty sure they're the same.

I also recommend going into a hex editor and switching the value in the ISO.hdr from gale01 to galeXX or something similar, so your dolphin won't confuse 20XX with the vanilla melee.

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

I understand that v1.00 is more balanced, but nobody ever uses that version otherwise when playing. I guess I'm more confused as to why you'd make the balanced version the default when it's not the most common/pretty much only version used. Same reasons you have it set to NTSC instead of PAL as...

Wondering the same thing... it just makes sense to start with v1.02, the value 99% of smashers use daily.

I just added them, and the same result occurs. I can make a quick video if you'd like. Super Edit: looks like I rebuilt the build with the gct for that warning message and it managed to fix the issue... no idea how that worked. however is there a reason we start out as v1.00 by default?

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

My test: Set to v1.00, go into match, watch samus' screw attack, characters fall out. Switch to v1.02, same scenario, nobody falls out/hitlag is bigger. Also tried with ylink spin attack and pika's down smash, all the same. It may be just my iso, but I'd be surprised how that would work.

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

So, loading the debug menu by default will have the hitlag/sdi behavior set to v1.00. However, this is still going to play as v1.02 higlag. You need to press left to change it to v1.02 in the debug menu (which logically wouldn't make sense unless you were going down a version) so I believe they...

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

I started reading all of these to see if anyone asked but I got bored. Just an FYI, the "hitlag/sdi behavior" setting has the versions mixed up. The option that says v1.00 is v1.02 hitlag, and visa versa. It's default set to "v1.00" which is the correct v1.02 hitlag, it just confused me. When I...

that's awesome. a friend of mine Jeff (WavyJ) is from Norwalk so I'll be make sure to let him know. additionally, The Grid Games just opened up in Manchester for those of you who can't be socut and live so close to the shoreline. they just opened up to melee but they usually do project m. good...
