What are some strategies for getting back on the stage.

I actually found out the hitbox for Lil' Mac's up-b can ge through slanted platforms like Final Destination. Not sure the use of it but it really surprising the enemy and if you can land the final hit, it can knock them away and get you back on easier.

why does it seem that everyone is hopping on the little mac bandwagon?

As a huge fan of Punch-Out, I've been wanting Little Mac in Smash Bros since Brawl, so the second he was announced I knew I was gonna play him. He's also extremely fun and satisfying (as the poster above me said) to play, I love the character and play-style.

    Customizations?

Yeah, S-B 1 is really the best. Personally, I think it's a criminally underrated move, it allows Mac so much more mobility and options for getting in, and for a kill move too, I find it effective. Many of matches have been won by S-Bing through a projectile and slamming them in the face. S-B 3...

    Customizations?

I prefer 3, I don't see the benefit of 1. As for recovery, I prefer 3 as well. As mimgrim said, D-Tilt -> U-B is does some great damage.

What are some strategies for getting back on the stage.

1.Try to sweet spot the ledge with U-B and S-B. DO NOT waste your second jump, it will save your life, use it wisely. 2.D-B can bring Mac on the stage too if you have good predictions. However, if you don't get the counter off, you're losing that stock. It is a very risk/reward method.

What can Mac do against projectile spammers?

Yeah. Press B anytime in the move, and Mac will toss his punch and land. However, not much distance can be changed. It's best to learn it's distances, and if you are too close, run back a bit, and then do it.

Social Defend the Title - Little Mac Main Social Thread

My best Mac moment was against a Greninja. He/She had 2 stocks and at around 50% while I had 1 stock and 114%. I make the best counters I have ever done and take their first stock, and then for the second, get in a couple jab counters. The greninja went for shadow sneak, I dodge out of the way...

A good Little Mac bait (I think)

This works, but once the meta develops it'll stop. I fought a Lucian earlier today that always countered when I ran in, so after doing this twice, I baited the counter, then ran in and U-Smashed her. This was the rest of the game lol. For some reason everyone thinks Little Mac will just run in...

    Q&A Doc's Tips: A Little Mac Q&A Thread

Slip Counter does slow him down, but personally I don't like it to recover, it's far too slow. He has some edgeguard options on ground, however, if you mean jumping in the air, then now. As far as I know he has no meteor smashes. Stick to d-smash and u-smash to edgeguard.

Data "Smash Ain't no Joke" - Little Mac Matchup Discussion Thread

Palutena is a great match-up for Little Mac. None of her moves can keep Mac out for long, and she doesn't have the speed to run away. Not only that, once Mac gets in, her throws are too weak to toss him back out. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a 7-2 in Mac's favour. However, I find Sonic to...

What can Mac do against projectile spammers?

Side B is the best option for stuff like this. Lil'Mac will by able to fly through any projectile (before he throws the punch) and it can punish any spammer. However, it is a move you have to master. If your jump is too short, you might (might, it's usually safe but gets you nowhere) get...
