Aside from Smash, I've been playing some DoA5 Last Round on Xbox One. Enjoying it a great deal as a casual fighter. It's nice to just play fighting games sometimes without thinking about the intricacies. I also like to play a lot of Pokemon Omega Ruby with my friends on livestream every Sunday...

Picked mine up from Play Asia. I'm very surprised how good it is. The build quality is also WAY better than I was expecting. Also works brilliant in Dolphin with Melee! Mad respect for Mayflash right now.

Hate to just regurgitate what everyone else is saying, but I guess it can't be said enough that you should just play what you like. This is something we do for fun after all. If I feel like trying new characters out, I just pick Random and have fun. So far, I've figured out I quite like playing...
