If smash 4 wasn't such a "**** you" to the competitive smash community, I would definitely say that we should just drop PM for the good of the community. However, PM is the better competitive game, and we've made it here ourselves without Nintendo. It seems that they're shoving their fists up...

Although I'm sure this has been said many times, I think that if we were to get melee HD it would have to be vanilla versions of PAL or NTSC. With the stubborn community we have (I'm part of this group), it would be unlikely that it would be well received if nintendo made balance changes.

@achilles1515 Is there a way to modify the alt skins in 20XX (and if possible is there a simple way to add alt costumes?) Also, are the PAL characters different files too?
