Notable Smash Ultimate Pit Players going into 2020

Narukami is a decent Pit player in my state (NC, USA). You can catch his vods here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjOywU06FNjLH7lfIiFdQYA

    Thoughts On the Ken/Ryu MU

What are your guys' thoughts/tips on the Ken/Ryu matchup? Thoughts on playing neutral/disadvantage/ advantage/offstage/ledge trapping options/follow ups are much appreciated for discussion Pit dies easily to his ground combos/cancels/shoryu and you can't cross him up. So annoying.

Down Throw into Nair... did you know he could do it?

Yeah I agree with J.B. One of the biggest issues with it is consistency, sometimes popping them out behind you on landing. I won't go for dragdown nair > regrab offline. I usually go for dthrow>dair (sour)> nair/fair. If their DI is bad, I'll go for another sour dair after the first, then end...

Who's Better? Pit or Dark Pit? Just a Matchup Preference?

Yeah I was about to say hahah. Neutral B in neutral is NOT it Chief. If you've got a good read and situation, I suppose going for a tech chase on an opponent at mid range for a jab reset might be good, but I don't really agree that it represents a significant advantage. Now, don't get me wrong...

Pit ressurects again, Smash for Switch

I would really say that it's case-by-case. I apologize if this is superfluous In some matchups, some might argue that you should ONLY use arrows or ONLY go offstage to edgeguard. The problem with that, is that the GAME is all about imposing your will on your opponent. Achieving this requires...

Pit ressurects again, Smash for Switch

Just hold jump for a full hop and throw dair right after the jump while holding forward. Don't use the c-stick to dair if you jump with X or Y (Unless you're trying to claw grip ...)

"I never learned how to read!" [Pit Combos]

Are Pit's Attack Cancel Bairs useful? Maybe on following up with fthrow / bthrow at low%?

"I never learned how to read!" [Pit Combos]

Since everybody has mentioned most of the B&B (and some cool mixups I haven't heard of or seen :) ) One really swaggy mixup I've been practicing is edge cancelled Side B > Dair spike (grounded opponent) > SHFF fair > Side B Also edge cancelled Side B > Dair spike (grounded opponent) > SHFF dair...

Pit/Dark Pit Players - Some questions

Again, big potential for high skill level players, but lacks the type of kill power that some of the more top tier / meta-relevant characters possess. That being said, his off stage game is really strong, and his frame data is really good too. He kind of lacks the ground and air mobility to get...

Pit’s Uprising: Documentation of Pit’s buffs

Shoutout to Massivehero Soccerguy giving Pit 2 less frames of up tilt (easier to follow up with nair/ up air), stronger dair spike (yay! it's less awful!), and stronger dsmash (perfect for buffing dragdown fair > dsmash) 4.0.0 HYPE
