Went back to try out the Mishimas in T7 and god pulling off consistent EWGFs is still insanely hard. Curious what the timing window is going to be for Smash Kazuya, hoping it's lenient enough that someone like me who gets Tekken EWGFs like 25% of the time can get it consistently.

Let me repost the list of move inputs that I made in the social thread. I wasn't a Kazuya main in Tekken but I have played a ton Tekken before (I main Asuka) so I can vouch for how most characters play. Now time for a big ol' wall of text, starting with OP's points: For the held directions...

I decided to let out my inner Tekken nerd and write down all the inputs for the attacks Sakurai showed off in that brief demonstration. Knowing how he does things, I imagine it's a good indicator of how he'll map the moves to a Smash style. My guess is that based on the amount of moves here...
