Dair's amazing. The more I use it the more I think it's one of the stronger moves on Squirt's kit. Great disjoint, multi-hit, combo-extender, great crossup/approach, edgeguards well and stuffs almost every recovery in the game, can even be SH autocanceled if you're godlike. Next friendly sesh...

Need to test all this out. Looks like they nerfed a lot of Squirtle's jankier **** but get him a few buffs. Not sure how much it'll compensate but we'll see.

I dunno that it's that far in Squirtle's favor, but it's definitely not nearly as a lot of people (myself included) thought. Might be even, idk. I do agree though that Fox is worse than either of them if the Fox player knows what he's doing.

Eh, my reaction time's subpar too, plus I don't have my Wii ATM. All I know is that Hero of Time/Red1 gets it preeeetty consistently, so either he's got godly reads or godly reaction times.

Strongly disagree. I'm biased because I play against one of the best Link mains out there (Red1/Hero of Time), but I honestly just think Link mains haven't figured out all the nasty **** on Squirtle. Specifically the fact that a grab at pretty much any percent probably means death for Squirtle...

It sent at more of a downward angle in 3.0 I believe. Also WG is fine. I might revert bubble's hitboxes and maybe get rid of the stall though. Ultimately, though, I think Squirtle's fine where he is. He's got good tools, you just need to use them properly.

If he's hitting you with grounded attacks off of nair then just DI up and away. I don't know how much he can follow up after that. Also if he's not using his aerial game then you should have no problem dancing around his hitboxes and punishing. Work on making your movement more dank (which...
