    This is a dope ass mode. Project M already has this, disappointed only 1 person brought it up so far, and its fun as all hell. Espicially the 1$ side events with this mode and its all random select with 4 stocks.

    The "balancing" factor was traction, characters with less traction had longer wavedashes and vice versa. In its history of being implemented, so melee and pm, it has been the big factor, or even close to it and hardly even a factor bar someone like Luigi who has a really long wavedash yet...

    Still a bad analogy. Walking back and forth in traditional fighters is seemeless as thet don't have to turn around.

    I would argue the opposite. It makes sense that with directional airdodges that momentum would keep if airdodged at an angle. As for feel of it being intuitive or input being intuitive, totally subjective and doesn't actually matter in the long run.

    I prefer to mostly just lurk Smashboards now but the whole cancel dash in anything makes wavedash obsolete is a bit misguided and it irks me a lil bit. The thing about that new mechanic is that, most likely, not every character is gonna have a good dash and therefor not make good use of it...
