Even if this is true, it's not necessary. The landing lag of the move is small enough for you to get it in without buffering the move.

It appears thrown items can be used regardless of any situation unless a character is put into strict hitstun or moveset lag that occurs naturally (not ending too early) So if this doesn't get patched it gives thrown item users (ROB, diddy, peach, pacman) a really crucial advantage.

Some of those are broken as hell. Not sure if they are going to patch it. It has to get popular enough to grab Sakurai's attention.

But the thing is mac has plenty of ways to get out of the air and in addition he's really hard to grab.

It also seems that for the gordo's hitbox to reactivate you have to use a B special move. Unfortunately, d3's special moves are quite slow and cant be used for combos like that. Perhaps a frame 1 gordo KO might work out.

Try to replicate the glitch. Catch the other dedede's gordo with side B and see what happens.
