It's too soon for Waluigi. He hasn't really had a non-spin-off appearance yet and making him either totally smash original or giving him a spin-off based moveset would just be a disservice to him. Personally, I think it would be cool to see Spyro be the character this time. Or maybe Bandana...

I may be alone in this, but I'd prefer for Waluigi to be a smash character after he gets an appearance that's not just a spin-off. I don't want Mr. Spinoff Man, I'd rather have Waluigi. I also wouldn't want him to have a 100% Smash original moveset like Captain Falcon does.

Since people seem to be keen on the idea of promoting Spring Man to playable status, I'm curious. What other assist trophies (besides Waluigi) would you want to see promoted?

I don't think the ARMS fighter will be Spring Man. Since he's already an assist trophy (one added in this game, I might add), I imagine it would be kind of indecent to those that created said assist trophy, as their efforts on it would not be able to be seen. They could add Magolor and Lolo. Lolo could be a retro character. Also, they won't announce every single character before the game comes out.

Yay. Takamaru has been officially confirmed to be an assist trophy, not a character. I knew they wouldn't make him playable.

The key part is the fact that Nintendo actually has all the rights to him. Also, I guess Layton COULD work.

Wolf Link is basically like Amaterasu, except it's a version of Link and Nintendo actually has all the rights to him.

I guess Layton would work just as terribly as Phoenix Wright.:facepalm::facepalm:

Banjo (+Kazooie) would be a nice addition, but Amaterasu would work just as well as Wolf Link would.

I don't care, I would still much rather have Ryu anyways.

Ryu would probably fit in.

They would have to be crazy to add Phoenix Wright. He would look odd amongst the other fighters.
