I don't know if this has ever been posted here, but this orchestrated album of DKC2's soundtrack is so beautiful. I can imagine this version of Jib Jig playing triumphantly in Dixie's hypothetical reveal trailer.

I found a similar relic too. I drew this a few years ago. Over time each character has gradually been added to Smash, with Dixie now being the only one left. Maybe 2020 will finally be the year.

Dixie being included with a Tropical Freeze stage would be great, but I'd also be happy if it was a DKC2 stage instead. A pirate themed stage specifically, up amongst the rigs and sails of the ship. There could be pirate Kremlings in the background, climbing up the ropes, and the stage would...

Those are my exact fears. It's a bummer that a large amount of people in the Smash community who aren't DKC fans seem to dismiss the kong characters entirely.

I absolutely love it -- fantastic job! The Enguarde bike design would fit in perfectly with the rest of the vehicle designs. Ugh... I wish it were real.

Your take on Candy is so unique. I've never seen anyone approach the character with such an out of the box design. It's super refreshing! The mohawk may be a little too much, as I don't really think it meshes too well when you sit her beside the other kongs' designs, but everything else...

Fingers crossed for Dixie Kong this Wednesday. And as for which music track I'd use for her introduction... I gotta go with Jib Jig from DKC2. I've always associated her with it, especially the harp part. Plus it's a piece of music that just needs more love in general. It's so dang pretty.

I love imagining what a possible introductory cutscene for both Dixie and K. Rool might be like. Picture DK and Diddy relaxing on a beach while the jaunty first part of Gangplank Galleon plays. Then as the music takes its more serious sounding turn, the skies darken, and the two kongs look up...

Even though I love Dixie more, I think it'd be ideal to have both her and King K. Rool in the game. I'll rejoice for either one.

The whole blue thing seems to be throwing people off, but Dixie's earrings are blue (or turquoise, but let's not split hairs). Either way, I have no doubt it's her. I like Tiny, but Dixie's always been the more well known of the two. I'm super excited for Wednesday~
