Well, the arcade side is still active, and TPC seems to at least for this year trying to push it as another Pokémon Pillar. And it has really good numbers for the install base, and a new franchise. Wait and see I guess

So the question is when, I'm guessing an EVO reveal, since the Arcade version is now all caught up, and that's when the game will have the biggest spotlight. Something else to consider with Harada being producer on this, is that there's a good chance these characters will be a free update

Say has anyone from the Smash side tried Datamining the game? I'm kinda curious if there's anything in the code

I mean Harada is adamantly against paid DLC, but all for continued support of the game. There are 4 obviously empty slots at the least and we know the roster screen can be altered with ease. Free Characters via updates would technically not be DLC, but rather continued support. Just a thought...

I generally don't play fighting games too deeply so I just hop around and get good at any of them so I can crush my friends and family no matter the circumstances. But for now I'm sticking to Garchomp, I'm enjoying the power and I like using brute force combined with some speed. About 12 story...

Also it could easily be that Paid DLC is not planned(It being Harada who hates paid dlc), and instead they could be planning to support more with free rollout(kinda like Splatoon), to continue support on both the home and arcade versions. the 4 empty slots make it likely

If this was the final roster, then they would have said so in the interview, all they did was deconfirm 2 fighters. In the PREVIEW version there's 16, and they have restrictions. again, there could be time locks or a day one update.

You know, if we do have the final 4 as secret characters, wouldn't it be sick if one was team Rocket's Meowth?(or Persian, but I just don't mind Persian)
