So far, my handle on Smash 4 is still more-or-less on a casually competitive level. I would, however, still consider myself a rookie considering that I don't focus on Smash 4 all the time during my free periods.
I don't really know how to explain the mechanics of the game, nor do I give the best explanations how I play a certain character. I just.. do. In other words, I'm bad at explaining stuff in smash terms such as "dair, bair, zair, etcetcetc." So I honestly feel bad when someone new to the game asks me for help...
With some time, practice, and effort, I've found ways to integrate my playstyle with the character's mechanics. I still have my obvious habits, however, but I'm hoping that time offline has helped me figure out how to control my nerves and impatience, which usually lead me to break down under pressure and commit to unsafe options.
