I would give it a 2 or 3. Pros: It gives a lot of side-b cancel options (with the platforms) that can be used for really good mixups, like falling aerial attacks or just doing another side-b. All of diddy's aerials are extremely good so you can pressure really well if they get on any platform...

1) I try to bait his moves with running -> shield or short-hops, then punish accordingly with any of diddy's aerial or by throwing a banana if I have one in hand. I also try to read his pk-fires to do a smash monkey flip onto him, but this can be tricky since good ness players will space pk-fire...

Not sure if it's topic related but... any advice on where could I play really good players online? My practice is pretty much online tourneys + ladder (NintendoDojo), but that's pretty much it since there's not a strong offline community where I live.

By "lagless-cancel the pop gun" you mean cancelling it's animation while you're on the air? I would like to know how do you do that. Also about the momentum reverse I find myself doing it with the banana-pull, but never thought about the pop-gun then shield thing, I've been trying to apply it...
