    Pros who converted back...

I know Hugs did. I know Zelgadis and GERM started playing melee again but don't know if they've stopped playing Brawl.

    Hey Melee people

Wouldn't it be easier to buy a new one and break it in?

    Rock, Paper, Scissors

Every fighting game, at it's very very very core, is RPS. Throw beats shield, shield beats attack, attack beats throw. It's the fighting games that go infinitely deeper into this system that last in the long run. Melee, Third Strike, Marvel, all have a RPS element, but they are also insanely deep.

What do you hate most about melee?

The lack of neutral stages. I feel there should be at least 10-12 neutral stages, with 10 or so more counterpick stages. It absolutely sucks that so many stages are garbage and have to be banned in a competitive setting.

SSBM vs SSBB: Control differences HELP (Not a Flame Thread)

It's been said many times in this thread, but I can't stress it enough. Practice, practice, practice. Set a computer to level one, and just keep SHFFLing over and over again until you can get every part of the SHFFL down 100%. After that, find people to play so that you can integrate everything...

How accurate is the SBR's final melee tier list?

I feel falco should be around 9.4 or 9.5, and falcon around 8.2. Ignoring the points, however, the actual rankings are perfect.

How much is melee truly superior to brawl?

    This post made my day.

The Official "Should/Will Metaknight be banned?" Thread (LISTEN TO THE SBR PODCAST!)

A scrub playing a broken character playing a Pro using another isn't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about Hayao, a Hugo player, beating top tier Chun's like Nuki, MOV, and Rikimaru. What would happen if players like Daigo and Otochun played Akuma? They wouldn't lose to anyone except other...

The Official "Should/Will Metaknight be banned?" Thread (LISTEN TO THE SBR PODCAST!)

    1. Nope, never. There is one way to beat Magneto, run away. But you can only run away for so long. All Magneto needs is one low short, which is a one frame move, to beat you. He infinites/resets one character, kills it, guard breaks the one coming in, kills it, guard breaks the last one, kills...

The Official "Should/Will Metaknight be banned?" Thread (LISTEN TO THE SBR PODCAST!)

Do you play other games? Have you read my posts? Do you know how much of an advantage Magneto has over the entire cast of Marvel vs. Capcom 2? Do you have any idea how insanely good Chun-Li is in Third Strike? Or how broken Blanka is in CvS2? Banning a character should be the result of imbalance...

    Does melee take more skill?

Footsies are not feints. Feints are a small part of footsies. Dash dancing is a feint and a mixup/mindgame technique, and although smash does have spacing games, because of it's high level of movement, footsies and spacing games don't have nearly as much of a hold. Footsies, explained in a...

    Does melee take more skill?

You obviously don't know **** about footsies if you think that's true. Are they similar? Slightly. But not the same by a long shot.

    Does melee take more skill?

To say that Melee is more skillful than EVERY other fighting game is an asinine and ignorant comment. Yes, Melee has huge freedom of movement, but guess what, so does Marvel. Yes, Melee has great mindgames, but guess what, so does Third Strike. The technical demand for Marvel is far greater than...

    Does melee take more skill?

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 takes the most technical skill by far, but revolves more around speed and technical ability than hardcore strategy. Third Strike has the largest pool of depth in strategy and mixup, but doesn't require the same level of technical prowess as marvel. Smash is a mesh of the two...
