There are no source codes. I did it with the cbliss tool.

I think a huge part of the problem is that the texture lacks definition. It makes him look like a babyface, instead of the grizzled beteran who came out of retirement to infiltrate Shadow Moses. While the Smash 3C version of MGS1 Snake isn't perfect, I do think the added detail helps a lot...

The Lite Pack didn't touch anything related to stages or music, so you'll have to google how to fix your music problem. As for the crash during Luigi, that's probably unrelated as well, but if you want to remove the loading renders, they're in projectm\pf\menu\intro\enter.

Thanks for the report. I tried updating it but my metals are kind of borked. It should at least not crash for now. If someone can fix it, please post it on discord. "it didn't work" is kind of vague, so I can't help you without any more specifics. That would work if you did it properly...
