I agree about the scene needing more regular events with bigger attendances to get it going again. I have a broken thumb currently so won't be playing for a little while, but I'd vote for bi-weeklies over weeklies Alex because I think they'd get better attendance and people would care more about...

Good to know it's not just me! I've just been playing around some more and by trial and error found that turning 'V-sync' on in the General tab of the Graphics menu seems to reduce the micro-stuttering quite a bit. I'll post here if I make any further progress with the problem. Also...

I think it's normal to get some framedrops at the beginning of a game, probably for the reason you suggested. Unfortunately my framedrops are continual throughout the game, about every 10 seconds; and they don't register on dolphin (fps stays at '60', speed at '100%' even during the framedrops)...

Wondering if anyone with Dolphin experience can help me out here. I've tried multiple versions of Dolphin with all kind of combinations of settings (dual core on/off, lock threads to cores on/off, hle/lle sound, etc) and I'm getting the same problem: my fps is constant at 60 and my 'speed'...

Just to clarify, will random events (e.g. random character select, luigi misfire) still cause desynchs playing dual core online with this new build? Or is that a separate issue?

Apart from the USB adapter for a GC controller (on keyboard currently which is...interesting) I have this set up and ready to test. I've got a PAL ISO and memory card as well as an NTSC ISO with the memory card linked from the OP in this thread. I haven't tried online yet but offline the Dolphin...
