Data All Aircraft Report! - Fox MU Discussion Thread

Say, is there anywhere you'd like me to post stuff regarding mu discussions that have already been finished, or is it ok to put stuff like that right here? Sorry, just don't wanna accidentally clutter things up.

Back hitbox pivot Ftilt.... but in more detail

Sorry for the trash quality, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXNLKdtzwsw Turns out, the fair isn't out of FH but rather a FH immediately followed by a DJ.

Back hitbox pivot Ftilt.... but in more detail

Great post! Considering we're mentioning FF Fair in these combos I'd like to mention: On battlefield, butt tilt>perfect pivot utilt>full hope fast fall fair>usmash can net a slightly earlier kill since you're setting up an usmash on the top platform. i messed around with this a while back, and...

We bringing the boards back. I got some Falco stuff that'll change the game

While we're here, is there a thread anywhere which systematically goes through falcos edgeguards on the different characters with all his great off stage tools? The most important thing I feel about this combo is the awful position it puts the opponent in considering it rarely kills. Picking...

    C-stick question

I use a tilt stick since I play Fox, but I've found it works quite nicely with zss too. For one, it's great because you can buffer an up air while in jump squat, which doesn't work with a smash stick since you'll jump cancel up smash. In addition, you can use perfect pivots in tandem with ftilt...

    Fox's Stage Match-up Thread

From my experience in the Fox Mac matchup, just take Mac to a stage with a high platform and your fine. Once you have the percent lead (just a quick laser to open the match), hop onto the top platform and let him approach. Mac's only option is to up b or use an aerial, both of which are...

    Fox's Stage Match-up Thread

Fox also has an incredibly good up air, and platforms block rosa to some extent from dairing fox when he goes for an up air. This in tandem with rosalina lacking a safe move to shoot herself horizontally out of up airs way seems to make platforms equally powerful for either character.

Data All Aircraft Report! - Fox MU Discussion Thread

I have a friend who has played little mac and ganon against me as his go to friendlies characters, and I'd honestly say ganons recovery is worse than lil macs. Once you convince ganon that using up b to recover bellow the stage is a good idea, he's toast because up b doesnt really cover above...

Why are platforms bad vs Rosa?

    Fox's Stage Match-up Thread

Whenever I play against Mario Bros, I try to play on wide stages with platforms. Here's why: Due to how slow the Bros are in comparison to Fox, and their slow projectiles (Luigi specifically), laser camping is pretty effective. This makes stages like Duck Hunt and Dreamland really useful for...

Fox's up throw is the only one worth using

I know fair has a lot of combo potential, but it hardly matters in relation to throws because the opponent can just di to avoid fair.

Fox's up throw is the only one worth using

In that case, is there a thread that lists on what characters, and at what percents, down throw fair is guaranteed on?

Fox's up throw is the only one worth using

Is this actually true at any point though? Edit: Down throw to fair, I mean.

Fox's up throw is the only one worth using

There are three reasons I say this: One of Fox's strongest traits is the ability to cover landings, so getting someone in the air gives fox a huge positional advantage. Knocking the opponent above Fox is, in fact, more of an advantage than knocking the opponent offstage. In addition, it often...
