Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

20XX works fine on soft- or hard-modded gamecubes, either directly loaded from an ISO or from a disc backup.

Hmm, seems like the IASA frame colour overlay doesn't work in peach float.

Is 'native control' enabled for the game in nintendont settings? It works fine for me, I have not had problems with it on either 3.02 or the 4.0 betas.

    Official Melee Texture Hack Thread

Achilles answered this for me in the 20XX thread. Assuming you're using the 4.0 beta you need to replace/add the .lat (L-Alt) or .rat files (R-alt). The filename itself (not the extension) should match. So if you wanted this to be the left-trigger alternate skin it should be named 'PlCaRe.lat'...

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

Thanks a lot. Are there any other buttons that serve as additional alts? Unrelated, but what is the easiest way I can enable the taunt to remove peach/shiek skirt without actually being in debug mode or using gecko codes (would like a solution on the iso itself). Would I need to edit the .dol...

    Official Melee Texture Hack Thread

I would like to keep the originals, I only want to swap/replace some of the custom ones included in 20XX. I don't necessarily need to have more than 2 alts per colour, but I would like to know if its possible to add alts to colours that don't have any already.

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

What if I wanted to replace one of the alternate textures already there (like the ones that come with 20XX), or if I want to add a texture as an 'alternate' one where it doesn't already exist? Basically I would like to replace some of the custom ones I don't like, but I also want to add more...

    Official Melee Texture Hack Thread

Is the process for replacing/swapping skins any different for 20XX vs a vanilla iso (as 20XX already comes with additional textures that are used when pressing L/R)? What would be the process to add additional textures to skins/colours that don't have any in 20XX?

@achilles1515 Do you have any plans for applying colour to an actionstate as I described here? I also noticed some crashing when combo as timer was used in conjuction with a few other settings, I will get the specifics tomorrow.

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but wouldn't it make more sense to be able to apply a colour to an action state rather than apply a state to a colour? Because of the way its set up its impossible to have the same overlay colour for more than one state, unless I'm overlooking something...

Melee running on Wii U through Homebrew (Works with Wii U Adapter now, will update OP soon)

Is the picture quality really bad for you? I heard that changing the Wii U to 480p mode (instead of 1080p) and then connecting it to the screen with component cables allows your TV to upscale instead of the Wii U, resulting in a better picture.
