plaza bonita's gamestop tourney was a joke. anyone else still want to play melee? i dont think brawl has completely made it obsolete.

i didnt even realize mission valley would fill up. plaza was able to fill up one page of sign ups before me, and when i signed up the paper was filled half way. i was under the impression that plaza would be one of the biggest.

im heading to plaza bonita.

i'll be headed to Plaza as well with a couple friends. and the media center room? is that the room below the library? cause i was thinking we'd be using one of the smaller group study rooms that have tvs in them.

why of course, my good man. Apparently (meaning i haven't gone to see for myself, but i will be later today), Gamestop at Plaza Bonita will be having a midnight tournament this coming Sunday. I'm not too sure if the game will be Brawl or Melee, but im assuming its Brawl. Its open to anyone...

has anyone heard of the tournament going on at the plaza bonita gamestop?

does any one at swc know if we could use the student center? i mean.. just take over one of the corners with outlets and we're good.

it is currently non existent, or actually, its more like non organized. there are many players at swc, its just that we dont have anything to collect them all in one place.

its true, we need to establish a chula vista/san diego scene. i bet those tourney's up in ocean side and ucsd would be bigger if it wasn't for the fact that its a 30+ minute drive up the freeway for us down here. i declare that swc be our smash place for us down here... or is there like a...

i was thinking we could do it in the study rooms.. but they're kinda small. not to mention i would think we'd get loud. and would the librarians care that we're using study rooms to play video games?
