I would love this to be true, but I'm feeling the sarcasm route. He's saying that he recorded lines at the end of another session, which sounds improbable. Smash needs a lot of grunts, and even if they use archive recordings for everything else, it still seems hard to do during another session...

An Emmy dress for the brawler would be lovely as well. While the third party costumes have been limited to Sega/Capcom/Namco, but given Level-5's closeness to Nintendo it would be possible for a mii costume or two. Hopefully... Maybe...

So, here's a thought: What would you think of Layton ended up as a mii costume? Personally, I would obviously prefer a full character, but that would be at least acknowledgement of his existence. Im not certain if Level-5 would let them use him just for a costume, unless they had a few Level-5...
