Its obvious that they have bad recoveries to balance out the character. Having amazing range, projectiles, ledge pressure, heavy weight, no impact platform landing AND a good recovery would just be too much. Belmonts are exploitable, but not the worst.

I have a theory about Simon/Richter's held jab. Obviously, this move is horrible by itself, its too slow and has short range compared to his other attacks. But can it be used to 2 frame people? if you hang the whip over the ledge, and move it just as the 2 frame window opens, can you capitalize...

Is there any variance in the hitboxes on the down air, or is it just one consistant hitbox throughout the move? I feel like this would be critical to know to help capitalize on all the dair combos.

As far as I can tell, there is no discernible difference between the two. I think it is simply an aesthetic difference.
