Yeah, I keep seeing both wishlists and fake leaks with echoes that are wildly different in body proportions to the characters they're based on. With that said, I'm still holding out for Malos as a Shulk echo and setting myself up for easy disappointment.

Has any (fake) leak ever detailed what would entail to Skull Kid's moveset? I'm curious what people have came up with for him as a fighter. Wasn't that game co-developed by Square-Enix though?

Really? I'm surprised Chrom has so many fans, I've always thought him boring personality-wise, not to mention his visual characteristics are already covered by other Fire Emblem characters. Viridi sounds infinitely more interesting as a fighter, and also fills a design hole in the Smash roster...

If you mean the term "trigger-happy" being used, that was just a translation liberty. Sakurai does mean something akin to that in the original, though, just more formally. I do agree it's weird for them (as in, Nintendo's marketing team) to not have thought this through instead of going 'whoops'...

I checked the original myself. Sakurai explicitly means character reveals, not Nintendo Directs. He makes it clear that he feels he revealed too many characters continuously instead of spreading them out. But yes, it could mean they just won't announce anything soon, and are saving a big reveal...
