I finally did it. The pain is over. Oddly enough Captain Falcon Helmet was also the last one I needed. I tried Link, and got it on Classic mode. So thanks for the tip.

Wow I just tried a with anyone match and the lag was terrible. It was like playing in sludge. The only reason I won was because a smash ball flew right towards me. XD

Haaaa. Dang right Falco is top of all non-MK/Snake characters. Why IS Captain Falcon always the absolute worse anyway? Is it because he has no ranged attacks and his moves are low priority?

I go 10 minutes, but somehow I doubt that's the problem. EDIT: It happened again, and this and last time it was right after I started attacking a huge bunch of Sandbags after letting go of the button by accident. Obviously Falco is too awesome for the game to handle.
