I don't seem to understand level 9s, in fact playing with them makes me worse. It encourages me to always be in the air since for some reason they rarely punish that. So whenever I go online I start spamming jump and get my butt kicked. I don't really play against CPUs anymore.

I kinda like it, since it punishes players who take too long at knocking out their foe. In it's own way it encourages the misuse of killing moves via staling and other things.
