    The creator of this video has been exploring sticky walking out of EDD. He seems to have found that you revert to standing state more quickly out of a sticky walk than out of a normal run. I've tried it and it seems faster, but I don't have solid frame frame data to back it up.

    I've found that it's pretty simple with Marth. You can control the length of your initial dash by how you input the dash. A flick yields a shorter dash than holding your thumb on the stick slightly longer. If you're doing extended dash dancing, you just change the timing of your direction change...

    Oh. Yeah, you can smash with the C stick with bidou, but you have to hit attack at the same time. It's just like a regular directional input.

    I use bidou and can confirm this is much easier with it. The fact that you don't have to allow the L stick to return to neutral is crucial. I wasn't super consistent with it, but I got it a number of times at full speed. With practice it will become easier. It will be interesting to see if it...

    I'm not convinced it will be any better than normal controllers. It will have tradeoffs, just like bidou has tradeoffs compared to tilt stick.

    He uses GC controller, as do most people who have been seriously integrating it into their play. There's a big misconception that a pro controller is somehow necessary.

    Ah, I see. The real test of bidou's viability will be ESAM at EVO. I think we are still in a "wait and see" period.
