Idk its a wierd move. It helps you get back on stage against someone like game&watch with crazy disjoints whos standing at the edge baiting an unsafe recovery. Its nice to be able to throw the disjoint infront of you, and it suprises people.

The glide is an amazing tool if used correctly. As far as being telegraphed, I would say it depends on when you use it. I use it out of dashdance usually for a crossup, landing behind and pivot grabbing. Also its pretty beastly as a tech chase or even to reset the neutral by retreating...
