Well, I'm pretty sure he's referring to new characters with this criteria, since he's already explained his reluctance to cut people. Just don't expect new F-Zero reps (or, consequently, a new Ganondorf moveset!).

I'm glad that we finally have a good explanation for Ridley's absence. No new Metroid reps, since it's a dead franchise.

My biggest disappointment is that the game existing lead to me having to read and feel the full force of someone calling Robin a "useless clone or possible alternate form."

You really only need one setup to have everything unlocked, at which point you can just copy everything by USB (people can back up their old data the same way, if they are concerned with losing it). It really shouldn't be an issue at all. Unless you can't do that on Wii U for some reason...

Pretty sure losing in Smash means losing your stocks, not having a high percent. This rewards staying alive, which is not losing.

Also, why do you feel you need a pro controller, too?

The fact that we got the adapter at all was pretty surprising, and your expectations are honestly completely unreasonable.
