I think they'll bundle characters and stages together, much like MK8. Probably two characters and three stages per pack.

Was at the press event in question. Embargo lifts on the 12th at 2 (same time the game launches in Japan). Can't say much if anything, but nothing really to be extra excited about, if I'm being honest. Sorry I have to be so vague :ohwell:

Last year each Best Buy only had one TV set up. they're not going to send a ton of Smash demos to each Best Buy. there's a very good chince there will only be one.

15 minutes is waaaaaaaaay too long. That means for every 16 people in line you're waiting an hour, assuming there is only one TV. I'd say 5 minutes max. I'd love 15, but don't see it happening.

Does anyone have any guesses as to how it will work and how much time each person will get to play? I'm assuming it's going to be something devastating like a three minute match with three other people and then you'll have to go to the back of the line. I missed out on playing Mario Kart 8...

There is shielding and dodging. It's very similar to Smash where can hold your shield and then tap left or right to roll or dodge.

I think I'll have to get a good handle on the 3Ds controls before I can say for sure, but for the Glory is porbably where I'll be the most. Who knows!

Nintendo isn't exactly known for this sort of thing, but last year with the release of Wind Waker HD for the Wii U, the Big N decided to put the game on the eShop a few weeks ahead of the physical launch date. This always drums up more digital sales. Could this be the case with Smash 3DS? Should...

I'm thinking mostly red with a white smash symbol on the top. Be interested to see what they come up with though (if they come up with anything. They could do an awesome one with all the fighters little icons all over kinda like that Kingdom Hearts model they had awhile back for DSi (I think).

I'm gonna go for both so I can play with my wife. Download on my XL and snag a physical copy for her. That way I can keep the box on my shelf, as I am a collector. Woot woot doubling up.
