i dunno zoro i think colin is right...i mean what if say dark sonic upset and won the whole tournament? or something like that...the way we do it it seems like swiss is just the big pool before brackets. everything 9th and down is fine because those spots were decided using swiss but 1-8...

im not saying brawl isnt a fighting game i just feel like smash has burned too many bridges so to speak...every time we have something with other fighting games it just never works right pound and genesis i use as examples that we can host big events on our own and that it almost seems like it...

i don't really like the idea of a sliding payment just because while it may make new players feel more welcome you don't want to make other players feel like they're being punished just for being good or for coming to tournaments a lot, hungry is right in that it would affect the bigger players...

all i'm trying to say is that the principle is the same for big and small tournaments, the same things that make a great regional or national tournament can easily make a local. what are some good things about big tournaments? big venue lots of setups payouts to more places (i think this is...
