I've gotten that burst of light from the upper right/left hand corners, but never from the actual top... Weird.

I mindgame with it. PK Freeze isn't so much an offensive attack as a tactical one; you need a perfect situation in which to use it and not miss, and they rarely happen. I think it's more like Yoshi's egg; mash buttons to escape.

I hate using the GCN controller now and therefore can't B-stick and therefore can't do half his techs, but I think I still play pretty well. Anyone else not using the Gamecube controller?
