But then why does marth get bumped lower in speculated future tier lists? He was only nerfed in grab range I believe.

Can anyone explain why Roy is suddenly expected to be bumped up to top tier this patch? Is it because of the spike change? I would be incredibly surprised if walking speed was the reason. If it's not those two then what is it because he was nerfed in every other aspect.

Why is it that many people prefer Melee over PM though? Could you explain? I'm just curious. I've played Melee too and I don't see much point going back. It's an amazing game of course and I wouldn't mind playing it. I just prefer PM.

I think some characters really focus on the punish game though. There can be lots of vortexing in this game. But I have very limited knowledge on 50% of the PM roster.
