Right click it on Dolphin, and then "set as default ISO".

I was having the same problem, setting Brawl as the default ISO should fix the black screen. I still can't play though 'cause for some bizarre reason all that happens no matter what I do is the word "LEGACY" popping up and crashing right there and then, before the game's intro. I haven't found...
