CF is a much harder match up than Falco at a pro level (1. Sheik 2. Fox 3. CF 4. Falco). And why not just check out the character match up thread, there's alot of good stuff already on these match ups.

I'm having a problem with instant wall jumping while hanging on a ledge. The problem is that when I ledgehop a bair occasionally I instant wall jump and fair... and die. How do I stop doing this or rather, how can I control doing this?

First think about who you personally dont like to play against using falco and then pick a character who has a good matchup against them.

The c-stick basically makes it easier to fast fall when you want to because control of the attack is separate from the ff. Without the c-stick ff and attack at the exact same time is impossible.
